About Lyra
I have 7 years of experience teaching biology, supported by a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences and a Master’s in Biology. My interest in living systems led me to this field. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding.
My teaching style is simple, clear, and engaging. I focus on making complex topics easy to understand through explanations and diagrams. I also use repetition and revision to help students remember concepts. I encourage students to stay curious.
Outside of teaching, I stay connected to biology through reading and learning about new discoveries. This helps me bring updated knowledge into my lessons. Teaching biology is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. Helping them learn is deeply rewarding.

My biology lessons are designed to help students understand concepts in a simple and clear way. I start with basic topics like cells, tissues, and body systems. I explain each concept step by step using simple language and diagrams. This helps students understand and remember information better. Each lesson is calm and structured so learning feels comfortable.
As students improve, I introduce more detailed topics like human physiology, genetics, and plant biology. We focus on understanding processes instead of memorising facts. I also include revision and practice questions to strengthen learning. Lessons are always adjusted based on the student’s level so they can progress steadily.
My goal is to help students build strong understanding and confidence in biology. I support them in developing curiosity and interest in the subject. Over time, students begin to understand concepts clearly and perform better. I create a positive environment where they feel encouraged to learn, ask questions, and grow with confidence.
