About Morgan
I currently study Bioinformatics with a minor in Data Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I have taken all the classes which I am tutoring and in addition to this, currently tutor Calculus on another online tutoring platform. This is a testament not only to my knowledge in the subject, but also the ability to reform this knowledge to students based on their knowledge in the field. I often feel that professors and teachers can be disconnected from the students and their understanding of a subject. As a student myself, I can understand and empathize with others who are learning difficult subjects such as mathematics.
I firmly believe each person has the ability to learn even the most difficult of subjects. I also understand that math can be one of the more anxiety-inducing subjects in an academic setting. My goal when tutoring is always to reduce the anxiety that comes with learning math while reinforcing the idea that every person is capable of learning it.

In my lessons, I prioritize breaking down the concepts into individual steps to help students understand the individual concepts behind mathematical problems. I often like to supplement students' understanding with visuals that emphasize the main concept and show how it is applicable in a real world setting.
Because of the nature of the mathematics classes I teach, I work with students from middle school to college. The lessons I teach are not geared towards any specific applications or fields, but rather the general understanding of a mathematical concept.
