About Itan
During my final year of A-level studies I used to help in GCSE science lessons alongside the teacher. Each lesson I would work with a small group of students through difficult concepts until they fully understood it. Additionally I would also go through past exam papers with them and explain to them what it is that the examiners look for in order to get a better understanding of how to answer exam-style questions. This really helped the students as they knew how to exactly approach the different types of question types, as well as knew the relevant information needed for them.

My teaching method aims to show how fun and interesting science really is! The lesson would start by consulting the student first and getting a feel for their level of knowledge of science, and tailoring the lessons to the student's needs. My teaching method consists of breaking down a complex concept into simpler, easy to understand chunks, and testing their knowledge before continuing onto the next part. This way the student will be able to critically analyse information and properly understand it. However, my aim is not only for the student to get the desired grades, but to also self-improve and work more efficiently.
