About Uma
As a math teacher I have an extensive understanding of mathematics. I have undergone a thorough training process in a recognized college in Bangalore, " Vijayanagar College of Education", from Bangalore University where I acquired the knowledge and skills that I needed to teach learners effectively. I do not force students to follow my approach, instead I will allow the students to offer suggestions and solve problems differently on their own. I allow room for collective discussions so that everyone in the class arrives at the same conclusion. In case a student is unable to solve a problem, I do not allow him/her to quit. I work with such students and give them the motivation to identify where they went wrong and keep working on the problem until they find the right answer. I also provide the right guidance and support where necessary.

To make class more inresting one should include discussions, small groups, worksheets, flashcards, and hands-on experiences when teaching math. I pick students randomly to solve the problem on the board. Teach them few funny things relevent to the topic and they will remember that forever.I am more comfortable teaching school children right from grade 1 - 10.
