While teaching for either School English or English Literature, I always try to give examples from real life so that students can connect and understand the text better. As I know a few regional languages including Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, and Nepali, sometimes for weak students I follow the grammar translation method or what we understand as teaching English with the help of the mother tongue.
