About Daisy
I am a recent graduate of Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Oxford University, having also studied Ancient Greek with my degree. Before this degree, I studied Ancient and Modern History for a year before making the switch to CAAH. I specialised in history, but have experience and competence in art, archaeology, ancient languages and ancient drama (literature and history). While at university I was a Krasis Scholar at the Ashmolean Museum, and have worked as a student ambassador with both Exeter College and Reach Cambridge, giving me experience working in an educational environment with children. I have tutored privately for three years, and have studied Greek and Latin throughout my four years at Oxford, which I continue to keep up with through short courses and personal study.

I am available as a recent graduate at Oxford in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History (BA) to teach an informal short course on beginners ancient Greek, starting at very beginning with the alphabet and transliteration, and moving towards a basic literacy in the language. This is ideal for those who wish to start Greek before starting a course at university, or who want to simply pursue it as a hobby. This is advertised as a short course or taster, following the GCSE John Taylor books as our guides, which will set you up with the basics of the language. Sessions are informal, and taught at the student's own pace. Message me for any questions!
