My piano teaching approach is designed to build creativity, understanding, and responsibility in every student. I believe piano learning should be enjoyable while also being structured and meaningful.
Creativity plays a strong role in my lessons. I allow students to explore different music styles, play familiar songs, and try basic improvisation. This helps students stay interested and express their musical ideas freely.
As a critical thinker and mentor, I guide students to understand how music works. Instead of only practising pieces, we explore rhythm, scales, chords, and finger techniques in a clear way. I encourage students to ask questions and think about how to improve their playing.
Accountability is developed through clear practice goals and regular progress checks. I help students create realistic practice schedules and guide them to stay consistent. Honest feedback helps students stay motivated and responsible for their learning.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm skills, basic harmony, and keyboard techniques. These subjects support piano study and help students become confident musicians.
