About Julia
My name is Julia and it is an honour for me to guide people through a practice that to me is so integral in my life. I understand that we all pursue yoga for different reasons and we all get something different out of it - it can be a structured practice but with so much room for our unique bodies, minds and souls to learn, feel, apply teachings and revel in the sensations and realisations that come up with the practice.
I enjoy guiding people through that and through an accessible and beautiful ancient tool and practice rooted in so much philosophical depth and richness. It also just a beautiful way for us to move our bodies and cultivate body-awareness which I am passionate about

I guide both private and group yoga classes (online + in-person), tailored to meet the unique goals of each client or group. My approach fosters body awareness, calm, and connection through intentional movement, breathwork, and mindfulness.
I am trained in trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness, vinyasa, embodied yin (somatic yin), yoga for mental health, hatha, restorative, and traditional tantric tridosha yoga, which lends me the ability to adapt knowledge and enables me to offer a wide variety of styles.
My classes, ranging from 30 minutes to 1.25 hours, are accessible to diverse age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. With experience teaching in rehabilitation settings, gyms, studios, and universities, I create safe and supportive spaces for all participants to explore their practice
