About Charlene
I am a music ed major in vocal and instrumental focus. I have been giving lessons for about 3 years now. I've taught about 5 students on bassoon and voice. My students are mainly ones that can't really afford private lessons with very popular and professional teachers. I strive to give students the education and skills they need to succeed in music. I help in the ways I find myself able to with what my students need.

I am a bassoon focused instrumental performer and vocal as well. I work with new bassoon band students due to the fact that when I started I did not get the help I truly needed and wanted since bassoon is such a rare instrument to play where im from. I help any students I can depending on skill level since I am still learning things everyday. I create practice routines and assignments to practice for my students to help create the muscle memory and to remember the different skills. The same thing goes with my vocal students. I teach how to read music in different clefs and types of music wether in English or other languages of music. I mostly work with younger students when it comes to vocal due to the fact that you need to be able to read the notes and music and learn different ways to do so in order to even start singing.
