About Courtney
Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m a passionate and approachable tutor with several years of experience working with students from primary school through to VCE. I hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in Neuroscience, and I’ve spent the past few years combining my academic background with my love of teaching to help students build confidence and achieve their goals. Alongside my tutoring, I’ve worked as a nanny for over four years, supporting young children with their learning in English, math, and science. This experience has given me a strong foundation in communication, patience, and adaptability—qualities I bring to every tutoring session. I’ve also supported VCE students in subjects like Health and Human Development (in which I received a study score of 46) and Further Math (42), helping them to break down complex concepts, prepare for assessments, and feel more confident in their studies. I take a calm, encouraging, and personalized approach to tutoring. With several years of experience both nannying and tutoring, I understand how to connect with students of all ages and tailor my teaching to suit individual learning styles.
