About Carla

I am a sound engineer working in the music industry, with a technical background and passion for the arts:) I have been working with children for almost a decade now and it is something that will always bring me much joy!

About the class

Before establishing an approach, I do everything I can to understand the student's most effective way of learning and absorbing information, and adapt to them. Lessons would usually be an hour long (or more upon request), with 2 short breaks in the middle, every 20 mins, since the human concentration span cannot exceed this length. I have been enjoying teaching kids since I was 16 (it has been 8 years now), with experience in tutoring for Maths, Sciences and Languages - I have also supported underprivileged children with homework tasks and learning English this year in Brazil for an NGO educational project. Ages and levels vary depending on the subject!:)
