I studied Modern History, English, Mathematics General, Biology and Chemistry; finishing with straight A's across all.
My method of learning is to read the subject textbooks, gain an understanding of the topic then go to the syllabus points and effectively 'dumb down' the topic in a way that's simpler and more easily digested. This allows me to explain topics and their mechanics to other students in a way that is simpler for them to understand - as appose to a teachers explanation.
