About Yoana
I am an undergraduate university student, studying BA Archaeology of Ancient Civilisations in the University of Liverpool, who wants to start tutoring in order to support younger students and help them in their studies. I have a friendly and positive attitude, am easy to talk to and understanding, as well as being a professional and skillful teacher. I always make sure those who I am tutoring understand the topic to the best of their abilities and I support them in whatever way they need me to throughout their journey!

My lessons are of varying length and structure, as they are tailored to the needs, abilities and goals of the student. Having them online means using apps such as Zoom and communicating through chats, calls and emails. Lessons are suitable for A-Level Classical Civilisations students, as well as Creative Writing students or people looking to improve their essay writing skills. In terms of experience, I have had tutoring experience in person in college, having been the student ambassador for both subjects and having tutored multiple pupils in both. I can also offer CV writing for anyone who wishes to improve their CV structure. I have had experience in CV writing having edited and proofread multiple CVs and helped the individuals to make them of a higher standard.

My son was initially reluctant to start tutoring and did not do very well in English, however, after just a few lessons with Yoana, his understanding in English improved dramatically! We received fantastic feedback from his English teacher and he achieved unexpected high marks in his mock exams. Yoana was always patient and very positive, which really helped.
