My approach as a tutor:
My approach is centered on clarity, confidence, and connection. I believe learning works best when students feel supported, understood, and actively involved—not rushed or judged. Teaching methods & techniques:
I use a mix of guided practice, real-world examples, visuals, questioning strategies, and conversation-based learning. Rather than memorization, I emphasize understanding why things work. I also check in often to make sure concepts truly click before moving on.
A typical lesson:
Lessons usually begin with a quick check-in and review of goals. We then tackle new material or problem areas together, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practice. I end each session by reinforcing key takeaways and outlining next steps so learning continues beyond the lesson.
