I am a college graduate from the United States and I work as a language assistant in a small town in Almería, Spain. My native language is English and I speak Spanish fluently, and I have experience giving private English lessons to children, teenagers, and adults. I studied Spanish at university and got my Bachelor of Arts in 2021, and at the beginning of 2022, I got a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL/TESOL). I work as a language assistant in a School of Early Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP) in Almería, Spain. In private classes, I help students with the development of their oral and written skills so that they can communicate better in English. I teach children, teenagers, and adults with any level of English. I teach vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. For example, in a class with an eight-year-old girl, I would start the class with a basic conversation: "Hello, how are you? What's the date today? What's the weather like today?" Then, it would teach useful vocabulary for a topic, such as "Places in a town: post office, supermarket, school, hospital, etc." The student would write the new words and we would use them in a conversation to practice pronunciation.

Emma es encantadora. Tiene sensibilidad y empatía con los alumnos, además de muchas capacidades para enseñar. Es la mejor si quieres aprender o mejorar tu inglés. Su paciencia y constancia hará que llegues a donde te propongas, no lo dudes.

Emma es una excelente profe de inglés. Trabaja los contenidos de una forma lúdica, lo que hace que no sólo los peques si no también los más mayores, aprendan de una forma significativa.
Además, se adapta muy bien al ritmo de aprendizaje de cada persona, lo que hace que nunca te sientas agobiado o presionado por aprender a otro ritmo que no es el tuyo.
