About Alex
I am an Operations Manager at Amazon in the North-East, my team and I process up to 500,000 packages per day! I have worked for the business for four years in various roles in their supply chain from “Last Mile” (organising the drivers who deliver your parcels) to “First Mile” which is my current role. In my time at Amazon I have launched 3 buildings in addition to hiring and developing hundreds of associates and managers.
Prior to working for Amazon I worked in management positions in food retail (Aldi & Lidl) and my career started as an intern for Enterprise Rent-a-Car whilst I was studying.
Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my three children all of whom are under two years old!

Using a foundation of 10+ years in leadership roles in conjunction with my degree experience I aim to provide a clear plan to meet and exceed your educational goals at any level from GCSE through to undergraduate. Lessons can be from 30mins to 2hrs and I can either assist directly with a project/assignment or deliver information on a specific topic.
Communication is critical to identifying knowledge gaps, earning trust is a key aspect of my teaching and I pride myself on being able to deliver knowledge in a way that is easy to digest.
I have accumulated a wealth of examples and experience which I use to contextualise the core business concepts, by bringing theory and practice together you can not only retain knowledge more effectively but apply it with ease in your future career!
