About Henry

I am a passionate philosophy graduate with a Master's degree in Philosophy from North Eastern Hill University. My primary area of interest is existential philosophy, where I explore fundamental questions about human existence, freedom, and the search for meaning in life. I focus on themes such as individual choice, personal responsibility, and the nature of existence. Through my academic journey, I have developed strong critical thinking and analytical skills, which I apply to deepen my understanding of life's complex questions. I am passionate about exploring how existential ideas can offer insights into the human condition and personal authenticity.

Discover the Power of Critical Thinking and Deep Reflection!
Are you curious about the big questions in life? Why do we exist? What is knowledge? How can we live a good life? Philosophy invites you to explore such profound inquiries with an open mind and a thoughtful approach.

Why Philosophy?
Unlock the Power of Critical Thinking: Philosophy helps you develop the ability to analyze arguments, think critically, and reason logically. These skills are valuable not only in academics but also in making informed decisions in everyday life.

Explore Life's Big Questions: Philosophy challenges you to ask questions that go beyond the surface, engaging with ideas that span ethics, politics, metaphysics, epistemology, and much more.

Enhance Your Communication Skills: Philosophical discussions teach you how to express your thoughts clearly and persuasively, whether in writing or through oral debate.

What Will You Learn?
The Great Philosophers: From the ancient wisdom of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle to modern thinkers like Immanuel Kant, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Simone de Beauvoir, you'll learn from the minds that have shaped human thought across centuries.

Ethics and Morality: Dive into the debates surrounding what is right and wrong. What does it mean to live a good life? Is morality subjective or objective? We'll explore ethical theories like utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics.

The Nature of Knowledge: How do we know what we know? What is truth, and can we ever really know it? Explore the fundamental questions of epistemology, the study of knowledge.

Politics and Society: How should we govern ourselves? What is justice? Philosophy helps us reflect on the ideals of democracy, freedom, and equality and their impact on modern society.

Mind and Consciousness: What does it mean to be human? Is the mind separate from the body? We’ll explore theories of mind-body dualism, consciousness, and free will.

The Meaning of Life: Philosophy often seeks to understand the meaning and purpose of life itself. Is there a purpose, or do we create meaning? This journey will help you reflect on your own life and values.

Why Join My Class?
Engaging Discussions: Philosophy isn't just about reading books—it's about conversation and reflection. In this class, you'll engage in dynamic discussions where everyone’s ideas are valued.

Thought-Provoking Assignments: Get ready to dive deep into texts and ideas that challenge you. Our assignments encourage you to think independently and to present your arguments clearly.

Interactive Learning: We’ll use modern tools like debates, thought experiments, and multimedia content to make the philosophical concepts come alive.

Real-World Application: Philosophy isn’t just an academic pursuit—it’s a way to understand the world around you and make better decisions. Apply philosophical thinking to everything from personal choices to global issues.
