I am a current high school Algebra Teacher in Orlando, Florida. I have been teaching the subject for 11 years and have seen all of the changes in the Algebra Curriculum. I teach using an I do, we do, you do approach. I will show 1 to 2 examples of a problem step by step. Then we will do a problem together using the same steps. Finally, you get the opportunity to do a problem using the same procedures to see what you have mastered.
A typical lesson includes an easy warm up problem followed by the topic that we are learning. I will give a 1 question exit ticket to see what has been mastered. I treat my tutoring sessions similar to how I teach a class.
The lessons are designed for middle school to high school students. College students are also welcomed to join
