About Manahil
I am currently studying for a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Manchester, having previously completed my Bachelor's degree. Alongside my studies, I have worked in the engineering industry, particularly in the railway sector, and completed an internship in tech at Microsoft. These experiences have given me a strong sense of what skills and knowledge are truly valuable beyond the classroom. I have been tutoring since 2017, teaching a wide range of students, which has allowed me to develop multiple teaching styles to suit individual learning needs. I believe that building strong rapport with students is key — creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and be open about their challenges. My background across academia, engineering, and technology also allows me to offer real-world advice and a well-rounded approach to tutoring. I offer lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, specialising in Mathematics and Physics, but also covering Chemistry, English Literature, and coding.

My tutoring approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s needs. I use a variety of teaching methods depending on how the student learns best. Lessons typically last between 1 and 2 hours. Depending on the student's preference, we can focus on individual topics they find challenging or, if they need broader support, we can build a personalised study guide during the first session to help them reach their goals. Alongside my studies, I have worked in industry, which gives me a more rounded approach to teaching — combining academic understanding with practical, real-world application. I offer tutoring for both GCSE and A-Level students, with a particular preference for Mathematics and Physics.
