About Nikki
I'm a yoga therapist, counselor, and psychotherapist based in Byron Bay, Australia, working with clients both locally and online. My own path hasn't been a straight line — I've moved through burnout, big identity shifts, and plenty of "messy" chapters myself, which is part of why I teach the way I do: grounded, honest, and without any pressure to have it all figured out.
I work mostly with thoughtful, high-functioning people — leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives — who carry a lot of pressure around competence and visibility, as well as anyone feeling disconnected from their body or navigating change. My approach blends physical practice with yoga philosophy, so sessions support you well beyond the mat.

My yoga classes go beyond "making shapes" on a mat. I blend Vinyasa, Yin, and Hatha to meet you exactly where you are on any given day — using Vinyasa to shift stagnant energy and move through emotion, Yin for deep release and restoration when you're stuck in "go" mode, and Hatha to build grounding, stability and patience when you're feeling scattered. Throughout each session, I weave in yoga philosophy — the Yamas, Niyamas, and other ancient teachings — so what happens on the mat connects meaningfully to what's happening in your life off it.
This isn't a standard studio flow class. It's a tailored, somatic approach to yoga designed to help you regulate your nervous system, release stored tension, and reconnect with your body — especially useful if you tend to live "in your head."
Format: Sessions run online via Zoom, 75 minutes each. I guide you verbally and visually, and help you set up your space at home so it feels like a sanctuary for practice.
Experience: I'm a yoga therapist as well as a counselor and psychotherapist, so my teaching is shaped by both a strong grounding in the physical practice and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, nervous system regulation, and emotional processing.
