About
New Life Savers is an official American Heart Association training site based in the Bronx, NY. It provides AHA-approved courses with same-day certification cards for both healthcare providers and workplace responders. Healthcare offerings include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Workplace courses include Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED. OSHA-compliance training in Workplace Fire Safety and Bloodborne Pathogens is also available.
Classes run daily and by appointment, with ACLS and PALS typically at 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, and BLS/CPR/CPR-AED and First Aid at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. For ACLS and PALS, the AHA Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work must be completed through the AHA eLearning site, and a completion certificate is required to attend. New Life Savers issues AHA eCards the same day and does not provide CME/CEU letters.
