About Paula
Namaste! I’m Nityasri Paula, and if you’re reading this, maybe your body (or your soul) is calling for a good yoga session. My journey with yoga began long before I earned my teaching certificate. I’ve spent more than half my life exploring this path—both on and off the mat. Since I was 15, I’ve been traveling to India, and it was there—between warm chai, vibrant temples, and generous monsoons—that I discovered yoga was so much more than beautiful poses. It was a way of living with purpose, presence, and love. I spent time living as a monk in an Indian ashram, where I dove deep into silence, breathwork, and meditation. That time changed me profoundly. Later, I completed my yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga: a 300-hour intensive certified by Yoga Alliance. I’m also trained in Yin Yoga—for those who love the art of softening and releasing all the way to the soul . Before yoga, I was a dancer. So when it comes to stretching, anatomy, alignment, and injury prevention… I move gracefully there too (quite literally). In my classes, I blend ancient yogic wisdom with modern body knowledge, tailoring each session to what you need that day—be it calm, strength, or simply a chance to breathe. Classes are open to all bodies, ages, levels, and emotions. Got an injury? Tell me and we’ll adapt. Want to just breathe and meditate? Absolutely. Only here for the savasana? You’re more than welcome—sometimes that’s exactly what we need most. If you're looking for a space to care for yourself, reconnect, stretch with kindness, and maybe even laugh a little… it’ll be my pleasure to guide you. They are a journey inward—where we work not only with the body, but also with the emotions it holds. Because yes: what we don’t express gets trapped in our muscles, our posture, our breath… and through mindful movement, we can begin to release it. Combining my training in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga, my knowledge of anatomy, and my experience as a certified Transpersonal Coach (ICF), I offer you sessions where body, mind, and soul come into alignment—helping you feel more alive, present, and light. Each class includes (if you wish) conscious breathing, meditation, and space for inner listening. And if you’re going through an emotional or personal process, we can integrate coaching techniques to help you understand and gently release what’s holding you back. Classes are adapted to all levels, body types, and life stages. If you have injuries, I honor them—yoga should heal, never hurt.
