With over 15 years of experience teaching elementary math, I focus on helping students truly understand math, not just memorize steps. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of prior knowledge, followed by introducing a new concept in a simple, visual way. We then work through examples together, move into guided practice, and finish with independent practice and a short recap to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my ability to identify learning gaps quickly and adapt my explanations until the student truly understands, not just memorizes. I focus on patience, clarity, and building long-term confidence in math.
My lessons are designed for elementary and lower middle school students, including those who need extra support in understanding foundational math concepts or who benefit from step-by-step, highly structured instruction.
