About Freida

Teenagers navigating puberty often feel like their instruments are betraying them, which is exactly why I prioritize safety over everything else. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Oklahoma and have spent 12 years performing across national tours and off-Broadway. Singing shouldn't be a struggle, and I make it my mission to share the practical advice I wish I had received at 18.

My technical focus covers everything from microphone technique and BELTING TECHNIQUE to sight singing and diction. Whether you are prepping for a big exam or finding your confidence in pop or classical styles, I am here to help. I am a steady hand for your vocal development.

About the class

Your 1st session acts as a comprehensive vocal audit where we identify your current range shifts and breathing patterns. I dedicate 10 minutes of our time to providing free access to my personal breathing and warm-up exercise notes.

You will leave with a clear roadmap of how to maintain vocal health while singing 8 shows a week. We examine your resonance and tone through the lens of my 5 years of stage history.

Technique feels much more accessible once you understand the anatomy of a changing voice. My background in musical theatre informs how we tackle genre styling and performance confidence without causing strain. You can expect honest feedback that keeps your instrument healthy for the long term. I look forward to helping you find your new sound.
