I know him from Bilkent University, where he was my teacher at the intermediate level. He is a considerate and trustworthy person. Besides, he is quite good at teaching. His passion for teaching is clear just by looking into his eyes. He makes great eye contact with students and can understand us regardless of our pronunciation, adjusting the teaching accordingly. This was really valuable to me and encouraged me to participate in class much more. His energy also keeps the whole class alert and lively. HE IS THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!

Matthew and I worked together as teachers in Ankara, Turkey for about two years. Now we've both moved back to our respective home countries, but I still remember how students would beg to get placed into his classes. This guy is definitely super in many senses of the word!

Even better is his creativity. He's actually created more than one board game by himself that I know of, and all of his students always loved the activities that he came up with to practice the language concepts in classes. I'm sure he's developed even more innovations since then!
