About Alex
I have used Linux since the age of 10, having no other choice at the time. So I learned the hard way. I learned by destroying my machines, and then putting them back together again. I learned by actually making the dumb mistakes you are told not to make. I learned by being forced to write my own drivers because Linux support for consumer devices was minimal back in the day. I learned by racking and stacking whatever hardware I could get my hands on to make it work. As a result of my years of tinkering, I have an understanding that is comparable to those who actually wrote the software. That means that I can ensure that you have the most complete understanding of what you want to know!
