You deserve a teacher who is honest about the physical reality of singing rather than someone who hides behind abstract concepts. I spent 12 years playing chanson and folk, which taught me that the voice is a flexible, living instrument. Because chanson does not work in translation, I learned to manage vocal nuance early in my career.
I work with everyone from kids to returning learners who want to find their confidence again. With 13 years of experience and 348 students taught, I have seen every type of vocal challenge imaginable. It is clear to me that technique should support the song, not restrict it. I hold a BM from Concordia University, providing a solid academic backbone to my hands-on, energetic style.
My teaching centers on creating a space where you feel comfortable making mistakes while you refine your sound. This is about building a sustainable, healthy habit for the long term. I promise to keep our focus on your progress without any fluff.
