Do you feel like you are currently staring at a wall of static when reviewing your economic models?

I have spent 10 years helping 400 students move past that initial confusion to find clarity in the subject. My own path to understanding Economics was not linear, and I spent a long time engineering a way to recreate that specific moment of clarity for others.

I work well with those starting from zero and those stuck halfway through a syllabus. My approach is neurodivergent-affirming and avoids rushing, as I prefer to see us actually finish a concept before moving on. I am comfortable going off-plan if a tangent is doing more good than our original schedule. Sometimes, the best way to understand a complex idea is to wander a little further than the textbook suggests.

About the class

Sometimes I find that the most complex economic theories are actually just common sense dressed up in intimidating vocabulary.

Using my BEcon Hons and PGCE background, I break down exam technique, GDP and national income, supply and demand, and essay structure to make them accessible.

We will also address elasticity, game theory basics, economic development, international trade, and macroeconomics. I treat my 6.0 rating as a baseline for the rigor I bring to our time together.

My goal is to ensure you possess the tools to handle these concepts independently.

I am here to help you get things done, not just talk about them. This is the work I do every single day.
