About Michaela
I am currently studying A-level Further Maths, Physics, and History, with A* predictions in all three. This year, I achieved an A* in A-Level Maths, and at GCSE, I achieved ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8.
Having tutored children in Maths and Science for over 30 hours, I have developed my ability to make lessons engaging and break down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps.
I have taught students across KS2, KS3 and GCSE, working with students of all abilities. This has included helping students who are struggling to adjust to the curriculum, as well as challenging those who are looking for an extra push. I also have experience teaching both 1-to-1 and small-group sessions.

Personalised lessons for students up to and including GCSE level, tailored to their individual needs, ability and goals. Lessons include clear, detailed explanations, targeted practice, regular feedback and marked homework where appropriate.
For secondary-age students, I recommend 60–90 minute lessons to allow sufficient time to cover topics in depth, practise exam-style questions and address any gaps in understanding.
I aim to make lessons engaging and encourage students to develop a strong understanding of the subject, rather than simply memorising methods.
