I break writing down into manageable steps—brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising. I focus on structure, clarity, grammar, and argument development while encouraging your personal style to shine through. I also provide feedback that’s constructive and easy to apply. We’ll begin by reviewing your current writing or assignments, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Then, we work together to develop a plan—whether it’s organizing ideas, editing drafts, or practicing new skills. Each session ends with a quick recap and next steps. I understand that writing can be intimidating, so I create a judgment-free space where students feel safe to learn and grow. I also bring a strong academic foundation, real-world writing experience, and a passion for helping others communicate effectively. I work with middle school to college-level students—especially those writing essays for English, History, or Social Sciences. I also help with college admissions essays, scholarship statements, and general writing improvement.
