About Kirsty
I am a student who has been tutoring my friends on an informal basis over the past 4 years. I am currently studying a bachelor of Primary Education in University of Canberra and am looking for a place to practice my skills. I am proficient in English at a secondary level (having studied at an advanced, extension 1 and extension 2 levels) and can tutor to a year 12 advanced English level.

Kirsty and I were both in the same year of high school, up until my final year I wasn't a good student and didn't try in school. My writing was bad and I didn't understand any of the techniques used in English analysis. Her style of teaching allows you to not just learn a concept but put that concept into practice and get detailed and concise feedback. For example, if I were to give her an essay draft. She would highlight areas where I could have used stronger techniques and wording. Explaining the why's and hows of English writing. If you are a student who is dedicated to achieving the best you can in English, I cannot recommend Kirsty enough as an English tutor.
