The First Session:
Every musician is different, so why would a one-size-fits-all approach help all students achieve their potential?.
This first lesson will serve as a getting to know each other session, allowing Tom to explore previous experience you may have with guitar and any difficulties you may have encountered in your musical journey. Together you will share what genres inspire you to play and develop a personal tailored approach to address any issues, as well as create exercises and an individual plan to reach your short, medium and long-term goals.
Absolute beginner? No problem.
Tom has developed a level based framework covering the skills essential to being a well rounded guitarist, which serves as a great jumping off point for personalising your music tuition journey. This method ensures that you can chart how far you’ve progressed over time, whilst highlighting and addressing any areas that may need more attention, enabling development across 6 key domains.
