About Sizakele

I started playing chess in 2014 and, in the same year, qualified for the South African Junior Chess Championship after teaching myself the game through online resources. I competed in tournaments consistently for several years, building experience before achieving strong results.

I have won multiple tournaments in the B section and, in 2025, became the SA Women’s Champion in the SA Open. In 2026, I competed in the SA Closed, facing the top players in the country, finishing 5th and qualifying for the national Olympiad team.

With over 10 years of experience, I am passionate about helping others improve and enjoy chess.

About the class

I focus on the most important areas of chess:

Fundamentals (opening principles, piece development, king safety)
Tactics (patterns, calculation, and spotting opportunities)
Strategy (planning, understanding positions, improving decision-making)
Endgames (simple techniques to win or save games)

Each lesson is:

Personalized to your level and goals
Practical, with real game examples
Interactive, where you actively think and solve positions
Focused on improvement, not just theory
