About Jacy
I have over 10 years of experience teaching violin and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance. I love working with young children, using playful and age-appropriate strategies that make learning fun. Storytelling, rhythm games, and movement are key parts of my lessons, helping children develop technique and musicianship naturally. I use simple melodies that engage students and build their confidence step by step. My teaching is inspired by Suzuki and Kodály methods, which emphasize listening, repetition, and a nurturing environment. These approaches help children absorb music in a way that feels joyful and creative. I believe every child can enjoy playing the violin when lessons are imaginative and encouraging. My goal is to make each lesson a positive experience that sparks a lifelong love of music. Watching my students grow in skill and confidence is truly rewarding.
