About Beth
As a high school teacher and a student (doctorate) I know how learning can cause frustration. I work with my students to define the specific learning tasks causing the most frustration using soft skills, which I also teach them, and then work step by step to help them not just learn the material but build confidence in their own abilities. My ultimate aim is to equip your student with the skills and confidence to not just meet his/her immediate goals but also to become an independent and lifelong learner.

My approach to learning is student-centered with interactive engagement. I will always begin with what the student's goals are and the areas the student wants to focus on.The lessons will be tailored to the student's needs. I focus on Grades 8-12 with English needs in reading, writing (of all types) and literature.
