About Evelyn
Hello, my name is Evelyn Truluck and I am just completing my 1st year studying Medicine at Queen's University Belfast. My main reason for wanting to be a tutor is to build the confidence of my students. I myself have struggled with this in the past, and so I believe that I can create a learning environment where my students feel comfortable and supported. No question is unreasonable and I am happy to follow the lead of my students, in terms of what they want to focus on/ how they learn best.

I believe that one of the biggest obstacles in learning is self-confidence. Historically, I lacked confidence in my abilities and this added extra, unnecessary pressure when it came to revising for important exams. As a result, I want my students to learn in a comfortable environment, without fear of getting things wrong or not knowing. We will work logically, step-by-step and encourage asking questions. This, I hope, will give students more confidence not only in their knowledge, but also in their problem-solving abilities.
