About Me....
Hi, I’m Richard, a dedicated and experienced Maths tutor with a Mathematics degree from the University of Manchester. Over the years, I’ve helped students improve their confidence, close knowledge gaps, and achieve results they didn’t think possible through tailored and engaging lessons.
This year, I’ve introduced an exciting new Belt System, designed to help students learn maths in a fun, structured, and rewarding way. Inspired by martial arts progression, it breaks down topics into manageable levels, making it easier to track progress and celebrate wins along the way.
While the system is new, it’s already helping students challenge themselves, stay motivated, and gain confidence. Whether you’re tackling tricky topics or aiming for top grades, this upgrade is here to help you get the most out of every lesson.

Richard has been tutoring my son for a few months now, the changes he has made with David are unbelievable. The approach he takes is super professional & also very different to what David says his teacher is like in school. He takes the difficulty out of maths & uses his own props & games to give an alternative understanding to the problems & makes them fun. It’s such a different approach & it’s definitely working. To take the time & write up bespoke lesson plans is great. Thank you Richard.
