About Melanie
I am a professional singer, music director and vocal coach. I have been training voices for 11 years now and have been singing for many more.
I have trained and studied under industry-level teachers and music academics in the UK (London), Mexico, USA (multiple cities and institutions), Argentina, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany and many more.
Some of the institutions I have trained with include ABRSM, Speech Level Singing International, Estill Voice training, New York City Vocal Coaching, The Black Church, The University of Veracruz (La Universidad Veracruzana - Mexico), The National University of Art (La Universidad Nacional de las Artes - Argentina), Manuel de Falla Conservatory (Argentina).

I train my students based in a mixture of techniques, including Speech Level Singing and some aspects of other vocal pedagogies.
I train my students to sing all styles, but my forte is black music singing skills.
I work on repertory, vocal tecnique, style, harmony and basics of music theory, so the student can comprehend important notions of both worlds.
