About Iris
Standing on a stage for 20 years teaches you about fear. I remember my first gig in Australia where I was nervous to sing. Since then I have taught 223 students how to find their voice. We work on belting technique and head and chest voice. I share the bolero and flamenco traditions I learned as a child. It is rewarding to watch a student stop worrying about pitch. Sight singing and harmony are great tools to master. My goal is to help you own the stage.

Honestly I always start by listening to you sing alone. We perform a diagnostic vocal assessment immediately. This helps me tailor our warm up exercises for your range. Pacing is slow and steady.
