About Liz

Adult professionals in their 30s, 40s, and 50s make up the core of my studio. Singing is a physical skill that requires precise coordination. I spent 4 years helping people overcome pitch control issues and stage fear management. We refine breathing control and belting technique for every student.

Microphone technique and diction and articulation are staples of our routine. Sometimes, genre styling for pop, classical, or musical theater is the main focus. I also use warm-up exercises and sight singing to maintain vocal health and care. You will eventually rely on your own reasoning to make artistic choices.

About the class

Walking into our studio, you will notice a space built for experimentation. You should prepare to make mistakes while we sort through the mechanics of your sound. I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice so your progress continues outside our hour. Having an MM from Yale means I understand the science behind your instrument.

We look at your goals as a specific project to manage. It is perfectly fine to be the person who asks too many questions here. My role is to be your honest and supportive guide. Let us get your voice ready for the spotlight.
