MY CORE BELIEF:
I would like to introduce myself as an educator who has spent glorious and gratifying 19 years in the field of education. Impelled by my desire to explore the innovative and disruptive teaching paradigms I transited from CBSE to IGCSE AND IB curriculums in the best of the schools. I spent a good time exploring, experimenting, mentoring and actualizing this dynamic process called Education in different roles and capacities. The whole journey has not only broadened my horizon but also challenged some of my innate conventions and enabled me to alter and replace them with more invigorating ideas and notions. Having been involved in this rewarding task I have realized that teaching is not merely conveyance of concepts but imparting the way of life. The whole purpose of education, according to me is to sharpen the intellect to relate to one’s immediate environment and respond responsibly to it. The process of education is to build the three key aspects of any individual: mindset, skill set, and toolset. For these key aspects to flourish, it is important that we as Educators understand the end goal of education very clearly. The underlying meaning between studying and learning, teaching and coaching, knowledge and information, purpose and pursuit are extremely blurring. The role of a true educator is to establish a clear understanding of the real purpose of education for all the stakeholders ie. learner, parent and teacher to build a strong schooling system that fosters a unified set of values between school and home.
I am a teacher at heart and strongly believe that an enlightened educator is the one who is always eager to explore, is abreast with the latest research in the education arena and blend internationalism with native wisdom.

MY VISION:
Some of the educationalists and thinkers I am inspired by are JD Krishnamurthy, Sri Aurobindo, Ken Robinson, and John Dewey. According to me, the essence of all great educational philosophies is to develop an enlightened being with a strong sense of self and resilience. 21st-century learning calls for the development of life and career skills over content to create an innovative mindset amongst learners so that they can be effective problem solvers. This has to be scaffolded with a strong character and social responsibility amongst learners to be responsive to their nation’s larger interest. Personally, when I envisage a school, I think of developing Socialpreneurs who can be patent makers and socially aware citizens who can revive our rich heritage through their innovation.
