I'm a Virginia Tech engineer with a passion for teaching. I help students truly connect with math & physics by tying it to what they love — whether it’s sports, space, biology, dance :)

Sami has been such a wonderful math tutor for my 7th and 11th graders. He comes to our home each week and teaches them both, always making sure they feel comfortable, confident, and truly understand the material before moving on. He has a calm and encouraging way of explaining things that makes even the harder topics feel manageable.

What I love most is seeing the excitement on my kids’ faces when they tell me, “I aced my math quiz!” — something that never used to happen. Their grades have improved, but even more importantly, their confidence in math has grown tremendously. They actually enjoy learning with Sami and look forward to his sessions.
