I've been having violin lessons with Simon for a few years now and have found his lessons to be really helpful and enjoyable. His lessons have been tailored to me and my goals. He is patient and supportive and explains techniques well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a violin tutor!

Simon has been my violin teacher for the last several years. What I like about his teaching style is that he’s very flexible and really tailors his lessons to what your goals and interests are instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach, which I especially appreciate as an adult learner. At the same time, he doesn’t gloss over any of the sometimes boring but necessary nuts-and-bolts foundational stuff that ultimately is what really improves your playing. I’m really happy with my progress so far and I put a lot of that down to Simon’s guidance. He’s always encouraging and makes sure you understand a new concept he’s introduced before moving on. He’s always been very dependable, on time and doesn’t mess you around. And he’s a friendly, easygoing kinda guy that puts you at ease from the start. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Simon as a teacher.
