About Daniel
Ever since I was young I have had a deep passion for classical music and the violin, and I have many years experience as a violinist. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of music with others who are beginning their journey as musicians. I am currently a member of the Auckland Youth Orchestra, one of the best youth symphony orchestras in New Zealand, and I have won 1st and 2nd place in the North Shore Performing Arts Competition in two categories in 2024. I would love to help new students realize their dream of becoming a musician. I can also teach in simple Chinese.

I am qualified to teach beginner to early intermediate students. I offer both 30m and 1h lessons. Through my lessons you will learn to play the violin and master the art of producing beautiful music on your instrument, learn to read music and understand basic music theory, and the history and depth of classical music and the great composers. I have passed all of my ABRSM Performance Exams with Distinctions. I also hold a Distinction in ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory. I am also able to speak Mandarin Chinese at an intermediate level, so lessons may be held in mixed Chinese if necessary. Lessons at student's house or online.
