About Ayla
My connection with the violin began through a deep appreciation for its expressive power and rich musical tradition. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Advanced String Performance. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students at many different stages of their musical journey.
I believe every learner deserves instruction that is encouraging, structured, and personalized. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand techniques deeply while building confidence through consistent progress. I enjoy guiding learners toward meaningful musical accomplishments.
Outside teaching, I continue studying violin repertoire, attending performances, and exploring performance practices from different musical periods. These experiences enrich my lessons and keep them inspiring. Helping students unlock their potential remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

My violin lessons focus on developing both technical excellence and musical expression. We work on posture alignment, bow technique, intonation accuracy, rhythm control, finger agility, and tone quality through structured practice and carefully selected repertoire. Every lesson is designed to help students progress with confidence and clarity.
As learners advance, we explore shifting techniques, vibrato control, expressive phrasing, articulation variety, sight reading skills, ensemble playing, and performance preparation. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and experience levels, ensuring that every student receives focused guidance. Regular feedback helps strengthen consistency and musical understanding.
I believe violin study should inspire creativity while building discipline and confidence. My goal is to help students develop into expressive musicians who enjoy sharing their music with others. Every lesson supports technical growth, artistic development, and lasting achievement.
