I went to Cory when I was first getting in to music. He got me started, taught me how to play and now I’m a gigging musician. I owe it to Cory, and I highly recommend him as a teacher!

Cory is one of the most talented violin / fiddle players I know of. A husband, a father, and good friend who loves his family dearly. When It comes to teaching he is very matter of fact , but knows how to teach someone with a gentle hand to have them play correctly. He is a good man and a solid teacher. Cory is an amazing performer and teacher. as a teacher, he has a wide range of knowledge from classical, to country, Americana and beyond. his teaching style is in depth, yet concise, making his pedagogical approach easily accessible from beginner to advanced students. he's well versed in the Suzuki violin method which is great for getting students playing in a short amount of time: as well as many other methods. the violin is a notoriously difficult instrument to master, and Cory is a great mentor on the journey.
