About Sky
Hey! My name is Sky, I founded a video game development startup at the age of 15 and launched two video games (Deluded Mind, Beyond Senses) during that time, which are still being sold today. I've always worked hand in hand with the Unreal Engine.
Since I sometimes worked more than 100 hours a week and the income did not adequately compensate for this time, I decided to pursue a career as an engineer and to study electrical engineering.
I work as a student for an aviation company and am responsible for the development of intelligent cabin systems. So far, I have always done my work very carefully and above average, which is why I have gratefully received a scholarship from my university since October 2021!
I have often tutored my fellow students. They always told me that I was a great teacher, which motivated me to start here at Superprof!

In this course we will develop a video game together in a practical way. We work our way step by step with the Unreal Engine, using only free resources (textures, sound effects, 3D models) from the Internet. Of course I will show you where to find commercially viable resources as well as freelancers.
The development of a video game does not only include pure programming in e.g. C++ - it is of course also accompanied by a strong design process. Become an all-rounder in media technology and develop your own video game without much prior knowledge! :-)

Perfect! Sky überzeugt nicht nur mit seinem großen Backgroundwissen in der Informatik, sondern hat neben seiner Fachkompetenz auch die Fähigkeit komplexe Themen einfach und nachvollziehbar zu erklären. Bei meiner Abschlussarbeit mit Bezug zur Unreal Engine war er immer flexibel und kommt einem Schüler sehr entgegen. Er gehört auf jedenfall zu den BESTEN Lehrern, die ich bisher hatte.

Ich kenne Sky bereits seit dem Abitur, wo er mir öfters bei Themen rund um Informatik und Technik ausgeholfen hat. Dabei habe ich gemerkt oder gelernt, dass es oft auf den Lehrer ankommt und der Schüler oft nichts dafür kann, wenn er im Unterricht nicht mitkommt. Ist echt cool, dass er sein Wissen jetzt auch professionell weitergeben möchte. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen!

Ich wollte Hobby-mäßig ein kleines Videospiel entwickeln, leider hatte ich da einige Probleme, bei denen mir Sky wunderbar geholfen hat. Er hat alles anschaulich erklärt und hat auch immer wieder nachgefragt, damit ich die Dinge auch nicht mehr vergesse. Dabei lief es immer locker und witzig ab. Sky hat mir durch meine mündliche (Nach)-Prüfung in Informatik verholen, obwohl er zu diesem Zeitpunkt erst im 2. Semester studiert hat. Die Nachhilfe war immer sehr anschaulich und niemals zu trocken. Auf Rückfragen hat er immer mit Praxisbeispielen und digitalen Zeichnungen geantwortet!
