About Katie
I am a student of public health who took an interest in nutrition. I have been vegan for 5 years and vegetarian for 5 before that. I love giving people advice on healthy living and have been doing so for about a year. I am passionate about helping people find affordable and unique ways to be healthy.

My teaching approach is very hands on. I demonstrate all the techniques I use and explain why I use them. When cooking I try to explain how ingredients pair so my students can learn to broaden their pallets and open their minds to new vegan foods. My goal is to help make the vegan lifestyle more approachable. I think by explaining what each food is and why it's important to have diversity in the diet that all my students will begin to really want to try new things.
