About Cooper
I'm a recent VCE graduate based in Melbourne, currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne.
I tutor because I genuinely enjoy the subject and want to make it more accessible for students who are finding it tough or looking to push for a higher score.
Being a recent graduate means the course is still fresh in my mind and I remember exactly which topics trip students up and what examiners are looking for. I know firsthand how challenging and stressful the Methods course can be, and more importantly, what it actually takes to do well in it.
Outside of maths, I'm a big sports fan and love catching up with friends - which means I know how to keep sessions engaging and relaxed rather than just grinding through textbook problems.

I'm a recent VCE graduate who achieved a Raw 44 study score in Maths Methods and a 97+ ATAR, and I'm passionate about helping Year 11 and 12 students build real understanding — not just memorize steps.
My lessons are tailored to each student. Whether you're struggling with the basics, chasing a top score, or just want someone to walk through SAC prep and exam technique with you, I'll meet you where you're at. I focus on building intuition for the material so that unfamiliar exam questions don't feel impossible.
Lessons are typically 1-2 hours and can be held in person (Melbourne, within a reasonable distance) or online via video call — whatever works best for you. I'm familiar with the current VCE Methods course, CAS calculator use, and what examiners are actually looking for.
