About Aria
Hi, my name is Aria, and I am a Year 10 student currently studying VCE Mathematical Methods. I enjoy math and want to help younger students feel more confident and capable with their learning.
I understand that math can sometimes feel confusing or stressful, so I aim to explain topics in a clear, simple and patient way. My goal is to help students build strong foundations, improve their problem-solving skills, and feel more prepared for classwork, homework and tests.
I am best suited to tutoring primary school students up to Year 9 students, especially those who need extra support, clearer explanations, or help building confidence in math. My lessons are friendly, supportive and focused on making math easier to understand.

My tutoring approach is friendly, patient and focused on helping students properly understand maths instead of just memorising steps. I explain concepts in a simple way, then guide students through examples before letting them try questions independently. I also help students build confidence by breaking difficult topics into smaller, easier parts and showing them clear methods they can use in class and tests.
A typical lesson would go for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. Lessons can include homework help, revision for tests, learning new topics, practicing problem-solving skills, and going over mistakes so students know how to improve.
I am a Year 10 student studying VCE Mathematical Methods, so I understand what it is like to learn maths at school and how to explain it in a way that makes sense to younger students. My lessons are best suited for primary school students up to Year 9 students who want extra support, stronger foundations, or more confidence in maths.
I aim to make every lesson clear, supportive and useful, so students leave feeling more prepared and less stressed about maths.
